your child, please refer to the appropriate section below depending on their age and current
educational circumstances.
Registering Interest – Children Not Currently in
Education
If you wish to apply for a place at Kings Rise Academy, please visit the school office to
collect an Admission Form. This form should be completed at home and returned to the
office along with:
● Proof of your child’s date of birth (e.g. passport or birth certificate)
● Proof of address (e.g. council tax bill, tenancy agreement, or utility bill)
Once the Office Team receives the completed form, your child will be added to our waiting
list. If a place becomes available, we will contact you directly.
Please note: In line with data protection requirements, applications are destroyed annually
for children not on roll. If you still wish to register interest after this period, you will need to
re-apply.
Mid-Year Admissions
Transferring to Kings Rise Academy
If you would like your child to transfer from another school to Kings Rise Academy, please
request an “in-year” or “mid-year” transfer form from your child’s current school. After
completing your section, the school will add the required information before you return the
form to us with any supporting documents. Your child will then be placed on our waiting list.
Transferring from Kings Rise Academy to Another School
If you wish to move your child from Kings Rise Academy to another school, please collect
the relevant transfer form from our front office. You will complete your section, and we will
add the school-specific information before returning the form to you to submit to your chosen
school
Visits to the School
We do not offer general tours throughout the year. However, we hold scheduled visits
annually for families applying to our EYFS Nursery and Reception classes.
If you would like to arrange a visit, please email kraenquiry@kingsrise.org with your
contact details and the year group you are enquiring about. A member of the Office Team
will contact you with further information, and a member of the Senior Leadership Team will
be able to show you around the school.
